Rethos is a nonprofit organization working nationwide for the use of old buildings and sites - activating space, invest in communities, and reimagining what can be.

This identity addresses the idea of reimagining spaces by breaking down the architectural forms of a building into simple isometric lines and shapes to suggest 3D space. It references the frame of historic buildings as the canvas for new life.

The logo plays tricks on the eye popping in and out, causing the viewer to consider the space they're looking at, much like we want them to consider and appreciate the historic building they're in, not just the new coffee shop with in.
